The Tradition

The Dianic Tradition of Brazil (TDB) is the first Brazilian Wicca Tradition. It was founded in 2001 and has the Silver Circle Coven as its mother coven, which is headquartered in Brasília-DF. Our Coven is the core of a larger group, the Silver Spiral Grove, which has members in the DF, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Goiás, Pará, Ceará and abroad.

The founding matriarch of TDB is Mavesper Cy Ceridwen (civil name: Marcia Bianchi), wiccan since 1992, Priestess, thealogist, tarologist, therapist using crystals and shamanic techniques, who for more than 20 years has been working publicly in favor of the pagan community. She is the president of Abrawicca – Brazilian Association of Art and Philosophy of Wiccan Religion since 2003 and IBWB – Witchcraft and Wiccan Church of Brazil, Member of the Religious Diversity Committee from the of Human Rights Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic and author of the book "Wicca Brazil – A Guide of Wiccan Rituals for Brazilian Indigenous Goddesses", published by Gaia. Mavesper writes for several journals in Brazil and abroad, always expanding her innovative work of Feminine Healing – for women and men - and seeking to extend the inter-religious dialogue.
